Russell Gunn is the most recent addition to the firm, but with having served eight years in the Missouri House of Representatives and nearly as many heading up his own consulting firm, he brings a useful skill set to the Flotron & McIntosh team. 

Prior to being elected to the State House, Russell benefited from a plethora of experiences that granted him unique insight into financial planning and the realm of insurance.  From 1980 to 1985, Russell worked as a registered representative for National Life of Vermont.  In the following year, he went on to become the Director of Marketing for St. Louis Dental, marketing prepaid dental plans to businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and local government agencies. 

The deep understanding that he gained from these employment experiences is reflected during his tenure in the Missouri House of Representatives from November 1992 to January 2001.  During this time he:

• Served as Chairman of the Committee on Social Services, Medicaid and the Elderly
• Served as Vice-Chairman of the Insurance Committee
• Served as the Vice-Chairman of the Appropriations Committee for Socials Services and Corrections
• Served as a member on the House committees on Budget, Critical Issues, Energy and Environment, Municipal corporations
